ANTHRAX quiere a John Bush nuevamente

-El batería de ANTHRAX Charlie Benante ha comentado a la página de AOL Noisecreep que el grupo está en proceso de reagruparse con el vocalista John Bush tras la marcha de Dan Nelson a finales de julio. "Hemos hecho dos conciertos con John (Sonisphere en el Reino Unido a principios de agosto y Loud Park en Japón a comienzos del presente mes de octubre), y esperamos seguir con esta formación."
-ANTHRAX drummer Charlie Benante has commented on the AOL page Noisecreep that the group is being reunited with singer John Bush following the departure of Dan Nelson in late July. "We've done two shows with John (Sonisphere in the United Kingdom in early August and Loud Park in Japan earlier this month of October), and look forward to this training."
-También explicó porque el grupo no intentó reunirse con el vocalista Joey Belladonna, cantante de ANTHRAX en su etapa de gloria y considerado integrante de la formación clásica del grupo.
"Es difícil hablar de ello. Vi una película anoche, básicamente era un documental de dos horas llamado 'Rock the Bells'. Trataba de un promotor en California que intentaba montar un concierto con WU-TANG CLAN como cabeceras con sus 9 miembros, algo impensable. Al final de la noche el último componente aparece y se reúnen, lo ví y pensé 'puede pasar', pero he leído un montón de comentarios de gente que creen que no seríamos capaces. En otra entrevista realizada por la revista Kerrang! al guitarrista de ANTHRAX Scott Ian, éste declaró sobre Sonisphere, "Fue mejor de lo que esperaba, he esperado cuatro años para tener de nuevo a John Bush en nuestras filas y fue increíble, muy emotivo, sorprendente de verdad."
Sobre la posibilidad de que John Bush se quedara en ANTHRAX de forma permanente, Ian respondió, "Obviamente es lo que queremos, y creo que hemos dado los primeros pasos para que eso suceda. El concierto fue fantástico, todos lo pasamos muy bien y John estuvo sensacional, lo que espero que abra definitivamente la puerta para que John se quede. De verdad es lo que queremos, no veo otra posibilidad."
Bush sustituyó al fugado Dan Nelson el pasado mes de agosto. Nelson entró en la banda en diciembre de 2007 y grabó el próximo álbum del grupo "Worship Music", pero el pasado mes de julio un comunicado del management de ANTHRAX anunciaba primero la suspensión de las fechas europeas del grupo por una enfermedad del vocalista, confirmando días más tarde una segunda misiva la salida de Nelson y la cancelación de la gira americana que ANTHRAX tenían programada junto a SLIPKNOT.
Dan Nelson sustituyó primero a Joey Belladonna, y segundo a John Bush, quien se negó a ser segundo plato.
La salida de "Worship Music" había sido anunciada para el 23 de octubre por Nuclear Blast Records, pero fue retrasada tan pronto como Nelson dejó el combo. A día de hoy todavía no está claro si las pistas grabadas por Dan Nelson serán borradas, pero todo indica que esa es la intención del grupo.
Dave Fortman, miembro de UGLY KID JOE y conocido por sus trabajos con MUDVAYNE, EVANESCENCE y SLIPKNOT, comenzó a mezclar el disco en mayo en un estudio de Nueva Orleans. Originalmente, la mezcla la iba a realizar Joe Barresi (TOOL, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE o SATYRICON).
Algunos títulos de "Worship Music" son "Down Goes the Sun", "Fight 'Em 'Til You Can't", "Vampires", "Crawl", "The Devil You Know" y "The Giant".
El grupo ha grabado 13 temas nuevos y al menos cuatro versiones que serán, "Brain Of J" (PEARL JAM), "Big Eyes" (CHEAP TRICK), "New Noise" (THE REFUSED) y "Running Down A Dream" (TOM PETTY), aunque no se sabe si aparecerán todas en el álbum. El material ha sido producido por el guitarrista del grupo Rob Caggiano (CRADLE OF FILTH, BLEEDING THROUGH, CHTHONIC, SAHG), y se ha grabado en varios estudios de Chicago, Los Ángeles y Nueva York. La mezcla se realizará a comienzos del 2009 con Joe Barresi, conocido por sus trabajos con entre otros.
En otro orden de cosas, el LP editado por ANTHRAX en 1987 "Among The Living" será reeditado con temas extra, un DVD y remasterizado digitalmente. Este "Among The Living (Deluxe Edition)" saldrá a través de Island/Megaforce/UMe el 10 de noviembre de este 2009.

"It's hard to talk about it. I saw a movie last night was basically a two-hour documentary called" Rock the Bells'. Tried to a promoter in California trying to mount a concert with WU-TANG CLAN as headers with its 9 members, something unthinkable. At the end of the night the last component appears and gather, I saw it and thought 'can happen', but I read a lot of comments from people who believe that we could not. In truth, it is more difficult than to might seem though I would love. Anyway I am very happy with John Bush, if he would be back with everything perfect. "
In another interview with Kerrang! ANTHRAX guitarist Scott Ian, he stated on Sonisphere, "It was better than I expected, I've waited four years to get John Bush back in our ranks and it was amazing, very emotional, really surprising."
On the possibility that John Bush Anthrax stay in permanently, Ian said, "Obviously what we want, and I think we've taken the first steps to make that happen. The concert was fantastic, everyone had a great time and John was sensational, so I hope that definitively opened the door for John to stay. It really is what we see no other possibility. "
Bush replaced Dan Nelson escaped last August. Nelson joined the band in December 2007 and recorded the group's upcoming album "Worship Music", but last July, a statement of management ANTHRAX announced suspension of the first European dates of the group by vocalist disease, confirming days later a second letter out of Nelson and the cancellation of the American tour that Anthrax had scheduled with SLIPKNOT.
